This is a story of 2 detectives that defy the norm in Law enforcement.
Steve Littlejohn (Scott Schwartz - "Bruiser"- Ocean's 11 &
12- 6' 10"- 300 Pounds) And Max Talltree (Coming Soon) adds
a new punch to the streets. In a day and age with rising discrimination
lawsuits - Max Talltree jumped on the bandwagon. Pushed aside
by society because of his "shortcomings", Max took the L.A.P.D.
to court and won a suit claiming discrimination against "short
persons".
Now he and his partner, a brute named Steve Littlejohn, have
been paired off as the crime-fighting duo of the new millennium.
These two cannot stand each other, and are the targets of constant
barbs from not only their fellow officers, but from criminals
and victims alike. It is a non-stop bevy of insults as they
square off against each other every minute of the day. Be sure
to tune in to this brand new, side splittingly funny show that
is sure to have you in tears!!!
It's another day in paradise at the 64th precinct. Detective
Steve Littlejohn has just been called into the Captains office
to discuss another allegation of brutality against him. The
Captain tells him that he is tired of citizens complaining
about his "rough-housing" "What you need is a partner to keep
you in check", Captain Franklin tells him. Littlejohn retorts
that he prefers to work alone. Franklin tells him that he
has no choice, and that command has sent someone in that they
have chosen to be Littlejohn's new partner. "Who"? Asks Littlejohn.
"Max Talltree is his name". Replies Franklin. "That's an odd
name, where is he"? Asks Littlejohn, as he scopes the squad
room from his seat. "He's here," replies Franklin. "Where"?
Repeats Littlejohn. We pan the room. A small head lurches
forward from a large easy chair over by the Captains desk.
Talltree is a "Little Person"! "Right here you Schmuck." Talltree
angrily explodes. Littlejohn laughs for a second until he
sees the looks on Talltree and the Captains' faces. "This
is a Joke, right"? Exclaims Littlejohn. He sees by the look
on the other two's faces that this is no joke! "I'll be a
freaking laughingstock"! The Captain goes on to explain that
Talltree is his new partner, and the directive came from "Down
Town"-Case Closed! Littlejohn barges from Franklin's office.
He rushes down the hall and bursts into the Locker room, locking
himself into one of the stalls in the restroom area. He mumbles
to himself, angry beyond belief. Suddenly we hear a small
voice. "For a Giant, you act like a little baby" Littlejohn
glances through the small openings between the sides of the
door. "What the F....." He sees nothing. "Down here you idiot"
Littlejohn wheels around to see Talltree inside the stall
with him, standing on the toilet!! "What the hell are you
doing in here, Small Fry"?? Yells Littlejohn. "That's Talltree,
get it right you putz!" barks Talltree. Littlejohn pulls the
stall door open and exits. The entire squad room is standing
outside the stall door. Someone yells, "You guys getting acquainted
in there? Everyone there roars with laughter and yells assorted
barbs at the two. Littlejohn mutters "Oh Great" and leaves
the Locker Room." Talltree falls in right next to him. He
reaches up and pulls Littlejohns' pants leg. Littlejohn jumps.
He looks down. "Will you stop spooking me like that"? "I have
a gift for that" replies Talltree. Littlejohn tells him, "You
made me look like an idiot in there." Talltree shoots right
back, "You do a great job of making yourself look like an
idiot, you don't need my help" "You got a lot of smart-ass
crammed in that tiny body, don't you"? Littlejohn replies.
Talltree tells Littlejohn "Look, we are partners, and there
isn't a damn thing either one of us can do about it. We have
to make the best of it."
They settle down with their apparent dislike for each other
and get to work. Their first week together is filled with
unconventional police-work. Despite their animosity the two
actually begin working well together.
